MR BEAN

     Today, I read MR BEAN. This is very famous, but I read this for the first time.

     Everybody wanted him to leave the gallery because he is strange. He only had to sit all day and watch the paintings. He wasn't very good job and he usually fell asleep. Also he knows it is not good to do if he did it, but he does it, so he is stupid he is beyond help.

The Lottery Winner

     Last week, I read this book. I don't like this story very much because a woman whose name is Ema is poor.

     Ema buys a ticket for the lottery every week, and puts it carefully in her bag.
Jason also buy the lottery ticket, but he is a bad guy. He steal Ema's ticket, and the lottery hits!!

After that they file a lawsuit with lawyers. However, the lawyers are terrible...
Lawyers are expensive, so Ema and Jason waste their lottery...

That's why my impression after reading this book is bad. Ema is so poor.

one-way ticket short stories

     Last week, I read this book. This is a short stories, so I would like to introduce about my favorite story in this book. It is "The Girl with Green Eyes".

     Julie's husband, Bill likes to talk too, but she doesn't. She read a newspaper which a man has. Then, they look at each other, and they get off the train, Julie leave her husband.

     I think they fall in love. I want to read more, so I wanted to write the contents more detail...

MATTY DOOLIN

     This week, I read "MATTY DOOLIN".
Matty is fifteen years old boy, he has always known what he wants to do. When he leaves school, he wants to work with animals on a farm, but his father wants him to work in ship-building like his father. Matty can't say his real feeling honestly...

     One day, Matty find a dog, Nelson. Nelson was not beautiful dog. He was old, had a bad leg, and couldn't see very well in one eye. He was loved by Matty, of course, he also loved Matty. However, Nelson died in an accident.
     When I read this part, I was sad and I thought Matty should work with animals because he has a warm heart. Maybe all of you read this book think so.

After that the death of the pet is an opportunity, Matty got an animal-related job, but I wanted him to tell his father from his own mouth that he wants to work with animals, he doesn't want to work in ship-building. So, I was a little disappointed.

THE PIANO

     Today, I would like to talk about this book, "THE PIANO". This story is written about a man who is a great pianist.

     The young boy in this book is not good at learning words and numbers. He likes to sing with his friends, but he is not good at singing very well. When he was 13, he had to work at farm. He enjoyed working there.

     One day, he finds a piano, and he notices that he is good at playing piano. I think this is genious, exactly. He practices hard, and he won at the piano contest.

I like the begining in this story. This story starts from the reporter's viewpoint; this is the interview scene to the pianist and he starts to talk about his career.
This is an interesting human story, so please try it!!
