The Princess and the Pea

It was interesting that
"Why? He knew that only a real princess could feel a tiny pea under 20 mattresses
and 20 quilts!".
The prince has looked for a real princess.
One day, a girl visit the prince.
He invite her kindly, and he put a pea on the bed.
Second, he piled 20 mattresses and 20 quilts on top of the pea.
She notice the pea when she sleep, so she has bad feeling at night.
I thought why she could notice such a tiny thing.
It's very mysterious.

My Week

Last Thursday, I went to eat ramen with my friend.
The ramen is involved barbecued pork, nori, welsh onion, and kathuo.
After eating ramen, I ate rice with the ramen's soup.
It was delicious!! I recommend to women. I want to eat it again!
After that, I drank a tapioka-drink at KUMAMOTO milk tea. 
It is very popular among young people.
It was sweet, and very good! I often drink it. You should try it!

Last Saturday, I watched a movie, it was "Tenkinoko".
It is SF fantasy, and I liked it.
Also, song of the movie is very nice.
I had a good time with my family.

Looking After Gran

Gran go shopping with Floppy by motorbike.
She parked the motorbike on the sand, and said,

"Stay here, Floppy.""Gran was away for a long time. The tide started to come in.A wave splashed the front wheel. Then a wave splashed the back wheel."Gran has parked too close to the sea!" thought Floppy."

I thought interesting this part. she always happen trouble.
Floppy tell Gran that. At last,  

"Gran spoke to Mum. I'm not looking after Floppy," she said."He's looking after me!""

Floppy is clever, because he saved her motorbike.

Shrinking Powder

Magic key began to glow. It took the children into an adventure.
They meet a boy, Jake, there.
He shake shrinking powder over Kipper.
Kipper begin to shrink.
After the adventure, he is still small.
He is very cute😂
Chip said,

""We can't let him see Kipper." "Let's put a box on him," said Biff.Suddenly, Kipper was big again. "What are you up to?" asked Dad.""

This point is good!! Kipper is funny for Dad.

101 DALMATIANS

Roger's dog Pongo and Anita's dog Perdita have fifteen puppies!
One day, Anita's old friend Cruella visit them. She is bad woman,
so dogs hate her.
Cruella like Dalmatian's fur, so she want those dogs.
She take those puppies by using bad men in the evening.
Pongo and Perdita go to help puppies.

"The Dalmatians find a small village and they hide in an old building.
It is very dirty in there, but Pongo has an idea."Play in the dirt, puppies!"
he says. They are very surprised! "We can get dirty! Hooray!""

I thought it was nice idea, and Cruella will not take them!
When they go home, the number of Dalmatians became 101!!
It's interesting, probably other Dalmatians escaped with them.
Dalmatians are very cute♡

The Great Race

Gran want to buy a fast car, Mum is cross with Gran.
Gran and children go to a new adventure, it was MONTE CARLO RALLY.
They meet a bad man, the Baron.
He try trapping Gran at the race, but Gran don't catch the traps.
And they win the race.

This race is very exciting, because there are these phrases such as

"The map blew away.""The car skidded on the oil.""The bridge was dangerous."

After this adventure, 
"Gran took the fast car back. She bought a little car."
It is nice!!

Kipper and the Trolls

Kipper try cooking with his dirty hands and long nails, it is like a troll,
so his mother said,

"Let me cut them," Kipper made a fuss.

After that he go to a new adventure, yes, he meet trolls.
He is invited to troll's party, then he see a pie which has some bug🐜
He felt it's dirty, so he wash his hands and went to get his nails cut.

Is is good story, washing hands and cutting nails are good for health.

The RUNAWAY PANCAKE

A mother cooked pancakes, but a pancake don't want to eat himself
and he escape.
He is ran after by all the family, a dog, a rabbit, a duck, a cat a fox...
and he meet a pig in the forest.
He ask to the pig to help him. The pig said, 

"I'm sorry, I can't hear you. you'll have to come closer."

So, the pancake approach the pig, and he was eaten...

The pancake is silly.
I read a book like this story before, it was a type of a gingerbread man.
I thought all the family don't want to eat foods which fell into the floor in generally.

Thumbelina

Thumbelina is taken by a toad and a beetle anywhere.
Then she loss her living space but she has a lot of meeting.
She meet very kind mouse and mole, and she find a swallow which is weak
in the mole's house.
She said,

"I'll keep you warm and take care of you."

And the swallow is well again and flies away.
Thumbelina don't want to marry with a mole, so she go to another 
warmer county with the swallow which come back.
Finally, she spend happy life with a prince.

I thought because she did good things, good things for her came back.

The Dragon Tree

The Children go to a new adventure.
I thought Floppy was cute because 

"Floppy didn't like the wood. He was frightened."

Floppy escape and children look for him.
Dragon have Floppy, so Kipper and Chip help him.
I thought it was easy to help Floppy.

The Adventure Park

A family went to the adventure park, and enjoy playing.
In the afternoon, it is time for a barbecue.
Father cooked a chicken leg, he said,

"Look at this chicken leg! What a good cook I am!"

But next time a big bird swoop down, and he take the chicken leg.
It was interesting the change of father's face.
His face is funny.(p17)

My Week

Last Friday, I passed temporary license test.
Before, I failed in a skill test, so I was worry.
I wasn't anxious because that was second time.
I didn't like crank course, so I practice hard on the day before.
I could drive well in the public performance.
And I passed the skill test.
After that, I passed a writing test.
I am happy💛

Danny the Dragon

Danny is kind and popular dragon, because he help people to make fire.
One day, however, a salesman sale magic fire sticks, and he say,

"They can light your fires when you're cold."

I thought Danny's role might be lose, and he was sad.

At that moment, robbers appear to the village.
They rob a lot of things of them.
Then, Danny come to help, and villagers gave Danny his job back.

It was a happy story, let's try it!

The Old Woman who swallowed a Fly

Although I tell you beforehand, this story is foolish.
A old woman shallow a fly, a spider, a bird, a cat, a dog, a goat, a cow
and a horse. How unpleasant this story is!

"She swallowed the cow to catch the goat. She swallowed the goat to catch the dog.She swallowed the dog to catch the cat.She swallowed the cat to catch the bird.She swallowed the bird to catch the spider..."

I can't understand this behavior, and I feel sick just to have imagined it.
At last, she swallowed a horse, she die.
Of course!!!

Chicken Licken

The main character, Chicken Licken is scared everything.
The scene I thought it's interesting is,

     "Suddenly, a tiny acorn dropped from the tree and hit Chicken Licken's head.
     Chicken Licken didn't see the acorn. He looked up at the blue sky.
     "Oh no!" he said. "The sky must be falling.""

I didn't think Chicken Licken had such a idea, 
I thought he was stupid and cute😂

The Dunosaur Who Lost His ROAR

In this story, five dinosaurs appear, their name is Sid, Spike, Ross, Ollie, and Rex.
Sid likes that he annoy other dinosaurs, so he was scaring.
He was funny, but others don't like such a his behavior.
One day, he roared too much, because of that he couldn't come out his voice.
And, he was laughed by others as he had other dinosaurs before.
He felt it unpleasantly and he tried to say "sorry" to them.
However everyone didn't stay.
He found that a huge dinosaur, Rex tried to eat them.
Thereat,

"He gave his biggest, strongest, loudest..."

When Rex heard that roar, he escaped far away.
Sid become a HERO🙆
I like this scene that Sid save others, because his loud voice was helpful.
I want to use his roar for good things.

The Boy Who cried Wolf

This is the story I have been listened before.
A boy was bored, so he said,

"Help, help! A wolf!"

At first everyone believe his lie, but he repeat same lies.
So, at last nobody trusted him and nobody helped him when a wolf really come out
and killed some of sheep.

I thought this story was good because we can learn we must not tell a lie, and 
if we told a lie, we lose our trust.

Oxford Reading Tree series

Today, I want to introduce my best book series;Oxford Reading Tree.
I will show you 5 books in this series.

First, I read "Gran".
Children and their grandmother like each other, and they play together.
But Gran broke a window, made a hole in the jumping castle.
So, she was got angry. When she was sad, a magic key began to glow.
They went to an adventure.

“The children jumped and jumped, and bounced and bounced.“Come on, Gran,” they called. Gran went on the castle. She jumped and bounced.“Good old Gran,” called the children. Gran made a hole in the castle. “Oh no!” said the children.The castle began to go down. A man ran up. He was cross with Gran.“Look at my castle,” he yelled. “Go home,” yelled the man, “and don’t come back.””

I thought Gran is very young because she can play with children,
and I am interested in what kind of adventure they will go next time.

Second is "Pirate adventure".
Children don't like pirates at first, but when they went to another world
with the magic key, they were invited to the pirate's party.
They were so kind, and the children become to like pirates.

““We wanted to a party,” said the pirate. “Nobody wanted to come.Will you come to the party?” The children went to the party.It was a good party. “I like pirates,” said Biff.”

I thought it was happy to make friends.

Third is "The Motorway".
When everyone found a flower that is planted ground is rare, people stopped
to build a motorway.

“The rare flowers were saved, and so was Gran’s village. The bulldozers and lorries went away, but they left a big hole in the ground.“What will you do about the hole?” asked Biff. Gran smiled. She had an idea.The big hole was made into a lake. Ducks come to live on it and wild flowers grew round it.

I felt happy, because beautiful landscape was protected.
And making lake is better than a motorway.

Fourth is "Village in the Snow".
In this story, children went to the village in the snow.
They save a little boy and fight with big boys.

“They saw a little boy. The boy was pulling a toboggan. Some big boys ran up.They pushed the little boy over. They pushed the toboggan over and ran away.The children ran up. They helped the little boy. Kipper picked up his hat.

I thought they are kind, and they have courage.

Fifth is "Sleeping Beauty".
They also go to adventure, then they meet a prince.
they go into a castle with the prince, and see a princess who is sleeping.
Of course, the prince kiss the princess and she wake up.
At last, they come back to the real world.
The scene I felt interesting is this...

"The magic adventure was over. Dad was fast asleep. "He's no Sleeping Beauty!""

This series consists of about 4 children, and they go to the adventures
when a magic key glow. They come back when they have risk.
You can remember the name of children, and this series is interesting.
So, let's reading!!

Martina the Cockroach

Martina is very fancy and she likes cleanliness.

"she did not want to share her home with a noisy husband."

I understand her feeling, but she should not decide her partner
only about cry.
She refuse a lot of propose, and at last she choose a mouse.
They married and sent a happy life forever.

It was a happy ending but I don't like this how to choose very much.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Today, I read this book.

Three bears went for a walk, and a girl named Goldilocks went
into their house.
when I read this scene, I thought a girl is rude and why bears
did't lock their house. 

In this house, a girl broke the chair, ate their food, and slept on the bed!!

"Goldilocks opened up her eyes and screamed."

I felt It was bears to be surprised. she is very crazy.

My Week

Last Friday, I went to see ASP-After School Party.
It was a dance event, and many dance circle's member danced very well.
Seniors performance, I moved to see that.
They were so cool!!!
After that, I ate dinner with my friends.
I ate doria.
I enjoyed talking with them.

Old Mother Hubbard

Old Mother Hubbard is a poor woman and her dog Spot 
can't have enough food.
She tried to give him a bone, but the cupboard is empty.
So they go shopping to buy a bone.
They went to Bob's butcher's shop, there was plenty of meat,
but the old woman choose a bone.
However, she left her wallet at home, she happen to meet 
a thief accidentally. And then,

"He ran with such speed, he tripped on Spot's lead."

The thief hurried. I thought Spot was nice!!! Good boy!!
After that, a old woman received reward, and her cupboard is full,
her dog has good steak all year.

It was a good story, why don't you give it a try?

The Gingerbread Man

This is an unusual story.

A old man and woman don't have children, so they made
a gingerbread man. But.....

"a gingerbread man jumped out and ran away."

It's amazing😨🍪🍪🍪

He didn't never stop even if he was spoken to other animals and children.
They wanted to eat him, but he didn't perceive that he was aimed by them.

An old couple chase him because they are worried about him.
Only they protect him, but he ran away from them...

Finally, he was ate by fox by taking a trap.
It's very sad ending💧

Ireland

Today, I read fact story of Ireland.

Ireland is very quiet and beautiful country.
And I interested in one phrase:

"There are many different Ireland."

In other words, one Ireland has beautiful mountains, 
big empty beaches, and long deep rivers.
Another Ireland is a country of story and music.
I felt it is very nice, and I want to go to there.

Ireland has a lot of history.
Once Irish was a dead language, because many Irish people
spoke English, and only poor people spoke Irish.
But now, many Irish children learn Irish, the Irish language is popular again.

I don't want to disappear the country's culture like language, traditional
meals, cloths, and so on...not only Ireland.

There are a lot of young people in Ireland:

"nearly 50 per cent of its people are under twenty-five."

Many foreign people come to Ireland to find their jobs, and 

"Today, young Irish people do not have to leave their country to find work; they can find work at home."

I think Japan should follow Ireland.

My Week

Last Sunday, I joined Sports Festival of circle which I belong.
We were divided four teams, and I was yellow team.
Kehaigiri was the most interesting.
It was that people closed the eyes, and they swat with a stick.

We played King's dodge ball, but our team lost any games. 
Our team placed 3rd, and got snacks.
I enjoyed the Sports Festival😊
