This week, I read "The Escape and Other Stories". There is four short stories. Even among them, I like the third story, "The Ant and The Grasshopper". This is not a fairy tale that everyone knows.
The author, Maugham doesn't like the story of "The Ant and The Grasshopper". This is because he hate the ant's behavior to grasshopper. And he wrote this story. This is very ironical story, but I like this story, because it's not an unexciting story.

Today, I introduce about "Huckleberry Finn".
Huck doesn't want to be a good boy, so he runs away from his family. He floats down the Mississippi river on a raft with his friend, Jim. he is a black slave and he is also running away.
I think Huck is kind. He wants to release Jim, even if it is bad thing. He tries to help his friend.
Also, Huck has great life ability. He can cook dish by using fish fishing in the river, and make the raft. I cannot imitate him!!
Two boys' adventure is not easy, but I really enjoyed to read this book. It was exciting!
